"Written On My Face" album by Thom Sumbler
With the release of Thom’s first recording "WRITTEN ON MY FACE" and Thom’s focus on performing and writing, things are definitely getting more interesting.
Influenced by Gordon Lightfoot and James Taylor, Thom’s songs have a late-night attitude. On "The Bottle’s Getting Low" you can almost taste those last few drops. Thom’s writing gives his listeners insight into what life on the road may be like. Jet planes, hotel rooms and relationships that fade away because of the distance between them.
The album, produced by Bob Tyler, features the backing of The Colorado Wrecking Crew, which consists of Tyler, John Magnie, Steve Amedee, Rich Moore and Jeremy Lawton. The result is a skillfully produced collection of songs that take you on the road.
Watch for Thom’s next record expected to release in early 2018
